Before deciding to join the J9 Fitness Team, please be sure to read through ALL of the terms and conditions. Please DO NOT sign up or sign the wavier until you have completely read through all of these terms and conditions.
By signing the wavier you the have agreed to all of the terms and conditions listed below.
Please understand that all of these terms and conditions have been created to keep everything fair for all of the clients who are participating, as well as to allow for timely scheduling and to prevent the loss of income.
Cancellation Policy
Clients are able to cancel 24 hours EXACTLY or before their scheduled session time. Any cancellations BEFORE the 24 hour cut-off can be rescheduled ONLY in the month that they were purchased/scheduled/cancelled. Please understand when canceling you run the risk of NOT having a preferred time slot when rescheduling, as well as the possibility of NO availability before the end of the month. Early Cancellations DO NOT take precedence over other client’s scheduling. Any EARLY cancellations that are NOT rescheduled by the end of the month are then EXPIRED and forfeited.
ANY cancellations after 24 hours from your scheduled session time (even by a minute) are considered a forfeit.
Since we live in Rochester, NY it is expected to have snowy and cold days a few months out of the year. If you choose to schedule in those months, then you are aware you will be traveling to your training sessions on many cold and snowy days. Please Plan accordingly.
This 24-hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced to allow enough time to hopefully fill the time slot you are cancelling. Last minute cancels do not allow for sufficient time to do so, resulting in loss of income.
Late Arrival
Please be courteous of your trainer’s time, as well as other clients. Please arrive on time to your training sessions. If you do not arrive on time, (which can happen now and then - NOT regularly) you will finish out the remainder of the time of your session, deducting the time you were late. Classes will not wait to start if you are late and will not be extended past your scheduled time.
Payment Policy
Payment for all sessions are due before officially scheduling your sessions. Once payment is received, you will be locked into the session times you have chosen. On the off chance that a session is scheduled last minute, payment will be expected upon arrival at the beginning of the scheduled session. If for any reason payment was not received before the scheduled session and the client cancels less than 24 hours or no-shows the appointment for any reason, they will be billed in the amount of the session. If payment is not paid upon sign-up or at your scheduled session, a late fee of $5 dollars will be applied to the amount owed for each day payment is late. By signing this wavier you are complying with the terms and conditions. You consent to being liable for your scheduled session payments and any late fees if applied in its entirety.
There are NO Refunds for any reason!
Sessions are non-transferable! Please DO NOT ask to give the sessions you have purchased for yourself to someone else. If you cannot make your scheduled time, you can NOT have someone else come in your place. If someone else would like to take that spot last minute, or at any point of your cancellation, they will pay full price for their own session. If you decide you no longer want to attend sessions, then the sessions are forfeited. In the event of a serious injury or serious medical condition, options will be discussed with the trainer to extend the rescheduling time to a reasonable date. Please understand regardless of the reason (i.e. forgot you had a session, no child care, stuck at work, meeting came up, feeling sick, (INCLUDING COVID - 19) having a sick child or other family member, stuck in traffic, snowing, or just didn’t feel like coming, etc.), if the cancellation is on YOUR end, then YOU are responsible for the loss of that session. J9 Fitness works with numerous clients on a daily basis and CANNOT endure the cost that would come with rescheduling for all of those types of last minute cancellations due to each person’s personal conflicts.
If for any reason the trainer needs to reschedule your session, as much notice as possible will be given. In the event of it being less then the 24 hours (which is Very rare), it will still be rescheduled for you and expiration time will be extended if needed.
Daycare
J9 Fitness does NOT provide child care options. Having children of any age in the studio is a liability, as well as a distraction to the other clients. Please be sure when scheduling your sessions YOU have child care for YOUR children planned elsewhere.
All sessions are scheduled a month in advance for your convenience. 24 hours is a reasonable request if you need to cancel your session. Other clients need as much advanced notice as possible in scheduling their training sessions and the trainer needs time to reach out and offer those time slots to other clients.
J9 Fitness appreciates your cooperation and understanding of these policies. If for any reason you DO NOT agree to these terms, please seek participation elsewhere with another trainer.
J9 Fitness reserves the right for any reason to terminate any client after their scheduled sessions are completed, expired or forfeited.
Please bring a change of shoes on rainy or snowy days. NO WET shoes are allowed in the studio for safety and cleanliness reasons.
